Kreider Farms proudly supports local initiatives, charitable organizations, and global efforts that strengthen and uplift those around us. From donating to food banks and participating in community events to partnering with World Vision®, we embrace every opportunity to give back and create meaningful change.

Kreider Farms is proud to partner with World Vision USA in its efforts to empower children and families in nearly 100 countries around the world and have been helping struggling farmers in the developing world lift themselves out of extreme poverty for over 10 years. By supporting World Vision’s THRIVE program, we are seeing thousands of people building improved and resilient livelihoods by harnessing the power of agriculture.
As original partners with THRIVE in Tanzania, we were thrilled to see small farmer incomes rise nearly 10 times over the life of the program, that food insecurity decreased by 51%, and that because of diversified farm incomes and cash savings, 95% of THRIVE farmers handled shocks without resorting to negative coping mechanisms. In all 5 of the original THRIVE countries, we are excited that every $1.00 invested resulted in $6.67 in improved economic benefits. Kreider Farms is delighted that, in its expansion, THRIVE is now aiming to ensure that 10 million people in 11 countries – predominantly smallholder farmers – have access to the tools they need to lift themselves out of extreme poverty. Improved and resilient farmers are sustainable!

Kreider Farms Cultural Center
In 2024, we were honored to make a significant contribution to Pleasant View Communities in Manheim, PA, supporting the development of the Kreider Farms Cultural Center. This dynamic space will serve as a hub for education, creativity, and connection, housing the Manheim Community Library, event and meeting spaces, and a Makers Market that provides local artists and creators with a workspace and platform to showcase their talents.

Penn Township Water Facility
Sustainability remains at the core of our community contributions, as seen in our partnership with Penn Township’s Sustainability Park. This four-acre park was developed in collaboration with Northwestern Lancaster County Authority NWLCA) and township officials. Once part of Kreider Farms, the land now houses a state-of-the-art water treatment facility that provides clean drinking water to the community. Surrounding the facility, a scenic park features a ¼-mile walking trail through meadows, rain gardens, and a wooded riparian buffer, with educational signage offering sustainability tips for visitors.
